Klōs

Community Guidelines

Effective date: July 22, 2026

Klōs runs on trust. Every introduction here is someone putting their reputation behind a connection. These guidelines exist to keep that worth something.

They apply everywhere in the app: posts, comments, signals, profiles, messages, and introduction requests. Breaking them can cost you your account.

What we expect

Be who you say you are. Use your real name and describe your work accurately. Klōs only functions when members can trust that a profile is a real person.

Ask for introductions in good faith. Request an introduction because you genuinely want to meet the person and have something real to offer or ask. Do not use introductions as a channel for sales pitches, recruitment schemes, or mass outreach.

Respect the person in the middle. When someone introduces you, they are spending their own credibility. Treat that seriously.

Take no for an answer. If someone declines an introduction, does not reply, or blocks you, that is the end of it. Do not route around it through other members.

What is not allowed

There is no tolerance for objectionable content on Klōs. The following will be removed, and the accounts that post them will be ejected.

Hate and harassment

Slurs or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Targeted harassment, threats, intimidation, or stalking. Encouraging others to harass someone.

Violence

Threats of violence against any person. Content that glorifies, incites, or promotes violence or violent extremism. Content that promotes or celebrates terrorism or mass violence.

Sexual content and exploitation

Pornographic or sexually explicit content. Sexual harassment, including unsolicited sexual messages or advances. Any content that sexualizes minors, in any form, will result in immediate removal, permanent ejection, and referral to the appropriate authorities.

Self-harm

Content that encourages or provides instructions for suicide, self-harm, or disordered eating.

Deception

Impersonating another person or organization. Fake profiles. Misrepresenting your work, credentials, or affiliations. Fraud, scams, phishing, and pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes.

Spam and abuse of the network

Unsolicited bulk messages or introduction requests. Automated or scripted use of the Service. Scraping or harvesting member information. Creating multiple accounts, or creating a new account after being removed.

Illegal content

Content that is unlawful, or that facilitates illegal activity, including the sale of illegal goods or controlled substances.

Privacy violations

Sharing another person's private information — home address, phone number, financial details, or anything shared with you in confidence — without their consent. Sharing private conversations outside the people in them.

Intellectual property

Posting content you do not have the right to post.

Reporting and blocking

Every profile, post, comment, and message can be reported. Use the menu on the item, or the menu on a member's profile.

We review every report and act within 24 hours. When content violates these guidelines, we remove it. When a member violates them, we remove that member. Serious violations result in immediate permanent removal without warning.

You can also block any member. Blocking removes your connection to them, hides their content from you and yours from them, and stops them from contacting you. Blocking is private — the blocked member is not told.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Filtering

Klōs automatically blocks certain content from being posted. This is a supplement to human review, not a replacement for it. Attempting to evade the filter is itself a violation of these guidelines.

Appeals

If your content was removed or your account was suspended and you believe we made a mistake, write to info@joinklos.com. Tell us what happened and why you think the decision was wrong. We will review it and respond.

Changes

We may update these guidelines as the community grows and as new problems appear. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
